Warranty Guidelines

  • Remanufactured & Compatible Products:
    • Unconditional 30 Day money Back Guarantee

    • 90 Days from date of shipment
      • Products are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. We offer:
        • Money back for original purchase price, less the percentage of usage and original freight charge.
        • A replacement of the exact same item at our expense or merchandise credit (your option)
  • Genuine Original OEM Brands:
    • Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)
    • Each item clearly shows the Warranty period, if any.
    • OEM Cartridges Name brand cartridges (ie.- Apple, Brother, Canon, Dell, Epson, Hewlett Packard, Lexmark) are covered by their respective manufacturer's warranties. If you have a defective item, please contact the manufacturer to verify the manufacturers' warranty.
    • We do not accept returns of open OEM cartridges.
  • Clearance or Discontinued Items:
    • Each individual item clearly shows the Warranty period, if any.
    • Pricing is discounted and based on those individual Warranties.

Returns Under Warranty

  • Do not use the "Core Return Label"! The Core Return Label is not an authorization to return an item & does not have an R/A number. 
  • For purchases of remanufactured or compatible products within 30 days of ship date only, we will generally send a replacement cartridge at the same original purchase price, via UPS Ground at our expense (except for damage claims, yields or inkjet cartridges). Freight upgrades are at customers expense. Please return the following, using a carrier of your choice and expense (it is always best to use a carrier that provides some sort of tracking or delivery confirmation):
    • Return of the defective unit within 20 days of the replacement ship date
    • The R/A Form with the issued R/A number (expires after 20 days)
    • A sample of the defect from your copier, fax or printer
    • A properly filled out R/A form (enclosed with replacement order)
    • Failure complete these 4 simple steps, may result in unnecessary delays since they are all part of the warranty process.
  • For purchases of remanufactured or compatible products after 30 days of ship date, the defective unit must be returned before any replacement can be made.
  • Should the defective cartridge not be returned within 30 days,  the replacement order will be billed and become payable or charged to your credit card. A $10 processing/handling fee will also be added since this replacement is usually sent on open terms.
  • NEWPRO reserves the right to reimburse on a prorated basis according to usage. As a standard policy, cartridges with more than 80% of the toner remaining would realize a 100% credit, while cartridges with less than 20% of the toner remaining realize no credit.
  • Refunds, Merchandise Credits and Replacements for returns under warranty vary:
    • Within 30 days: Customer has the option of a refund (less freight), merchandise credit (less freight) or a replacement cartridge.
    • Within 90 days: Customer has the option of a merchandise credit (less freight) or a replacement cartridge.
    • After 90 days: NEWPRO may offer a replacement cartridge at its sole discretion, in that event, customer must accept the same replacement cartridge, freight charges both ways are at the customers expense.
  • Genuine OEM Branded products are handled under a different return program and the warranty varies from brand to brand. Most, but not all, will require the product to be returned to the original manufacturer for warranty claims. Please contact us for specifics.
  • Cartridges, under warranty, that are replaced in advance and found not to be defective or within our warranty guidelines, or if unit reported to be defective is not be returned within 20 days,  the replacement order will be billed at the non-exchange price and become payable or charged to your credit card. A $10 processing/handling fee and freight charges will also be added since this replacement is usually sent on open terms.

Returns NOT Under Warranty

  • Do not use the "Core Return Label"! The Core Return Label is not an authorization to return anything other than a used core & does not have an R/A number. Any item received with a Core Return Label is handled as a core return only!
  • Any products being returned for any reason, will be at the customers expense.
  • Products must be received in original condition and in factory sealed packaging. Reasonable exceptions may apply if they have been previously disclosed by customer.
  • Customer will assume the responsibility of returning the product(s) and include all of the following:
    • A copy of the original customer receipt
    • A properly filled out R/A form (faxed or emailed to customer)
  • Returns are at the customer's expense - customer has the choice of shipping method, however, a signature proof of delivery and insurance are strongly recommended.
  • Customer shall pay all freight costs incurred by NEWPRO on the original shipment and/or subsequent shipments, including, but not limited to, local courier fee, common carrier and/or any other air upgrades.
  • In the event of a price change, we will use the lower of the two prices.
  • Refunds and Merchandise Credits for returns not under warranty vary:
    • Within 30 days: Customer has the option of:
      • If for a credit card refund, less a 30% restocking fee & freight or
      • If for a merchandise credit, less a 20% re-stocking fee % freight
      • If initial payment was by cash, check or e-check, we will issue a merchandise credit, less a 20% re-stocking fee & freight.
    • Within 90 days: Customer will be issued a merchandise credit, less a 30% re-stocking fee & freight.
    • After 90 days: NEWPRO may, under unique circumstances and at its sole discretion, offer a merchandise credit, less a 40% or more re-stocking fee and freight.
  • If returning Genuine (OEM) products, We do not accept returns of open OEM cartridges
